Specifics behind the program:
Lets examine what it is that allows some of us to hit the ball 300 yards while
others only 200 yards. Is it the club?
Could be, but I know for a fact that I could use the same club Tiger Woods does and he would out drive me by a mile. So it must be the swing, right? Well
it could be that too, but what about the swing would make the difference. Obviously
technique has a lot to do with the overall effectiveness of a swing, but what is the factor that really provides the power
to a good drive? Well if looking at a swing from a biomechanical standpoint it
is clear that most of the power is derived from the core of the body. The obliques,
in particular, have a major role in producing the power of a golf swing.
So what does this all mean? Well
by training the core muscles of the body in a manner that is known to increase power output, we can in turn increase the power
of a golf swing to provide more distance. This is the basis that MCSSC's golf
program revolves around. We use various training methodologies to increase the
power of core muscles. But we also go beyond just that.
Have you ever thought about swinging a golf club? What muscles are used? And more importantly are the opposite
muscles being used? MCSSC's golf program focuses on balancing out the body's
muscles to relieve any pain or stiffness that might be caused by your golf swing. If
the average golfer shoots 80-90 strokes per round, that would be equivalent to doing 8-9 sets of 10 reps in one direction. Meaning that every time you shoot a round of golf you are training your right chest
muscle and left deltoid in a very strenuous manner, but do not train your left chest muscle and right deltoid in the same
fashion. Over time this pattern will cause a misalignment of your body's muscles.
During the golf program weight training is done to help put balance back into
your upper body. MCSSC's golf program is guaranteed to produce results. You will drive the ball further and feel better than you ever have before.
